The Crestline® Altra Series delivers instant ink and water balance without waiting for molletons to dampen. It operates without alcohol, reduces paper waste and delivers incredibly sharp, bright color with less ink. The Altra features two oscillation nips to improve the milling of ink and water. This unique feature provides a smoother, more uniform film of water across the plate and the ability to run drier. Altra Series can be used with an existing recirculation system or the Waterboy Plus.

Installation can be done quickly without altering the press. Typically, a four color press can be converted in under two days and one or two color presses can be converted and printing the same day.
