INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Remove screw & plastic cover shielding the AB Dick EXO-995 Press Partner sensor and discard

2. Remove two (2) machine screws located to the right of the old sensor (used to hold cable clamps) and discard

3. Remove & discard old paper sensor

4. Using the two (2) 6/32 machine screws provided on the new sensor bracket, mount the sensor assembly onto the outside of the upper paper chute using the empty holes provided from step #2 above. Be sure to use the keps nuts provided to hold both the sensor bracket assembly and cable clamps to the upper paper chute

5. Connect the sensor connector to the original AB Dick harness (where the old sensor had been connected)

6. You are done! Run the press to verify that everything is operating properly.

• Check to make certain that the bracket and/or sensor is not touching the upper segmented forwarding roller. Reform bracket slightly if required.

• Loosen nuts holding sensor to bracket, shift sensor so that it is on a slight angle, re-tighten nuts.

• On 9865/9870 Model Presses, it is necessary that the 5VCD Power Supply be re-adjusted to a minimum of 5.6VDC.
